    Discovering your Herbal Constitution

    in General Discussions

Hello! Nice to meet you all, I'm Lexie a master herbalist student here as of the beginning of 2020.

I created this discussion to hopefully increase traffic to this forum and meet some of you studying and practicing herbs. So, when I first started learning about an individual's constitution or forefront humour, I was curious to make connections to myself. However, my observations are not too conclusive. I am curious to hear stories about how you discovered more about yourselves and your personal constitutions. Does anyone feel a strong connection to certain energetics or a certain TCM constitution?

I'm looking forward to hearing back 😀

I have been having trouble pinpointing my energetics personally. I think I run moist and cold in my stomach and intestines, but at night I get hot and dry. So, I'm a little confused.

Ok, so I have actually gotten to the end of the lessons where there are case examples of clients that have come into the MWSHS clinic. I am seeing now that if a client has mucousy sinuses, lungs, and urine, runny stools, and/yeast and fungal infections, it always is a predominance of moisture, whether or not they have dry skin or dry eyes. So I know now that even though I get hot with dry eyes at night, the fact that I have loose, mucousy stools and urine with leukorrhea, and a white coated tongue means I am predominantly moist. Those cases at the end are so helpful!
